HILL CITY
Hill City (population 479) is located 18 miles south of Grand Rapids on Hill Lake. A city park is located on the lake and the K-12 school building utilizes a passive solar and earth-sheltered design to minimize heating expenses. There are five miles of paved walking trails which link the city to Quadna Mountain and the school.
City Government:
City Hall: City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The council meets the second Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Woodland Bank Meeting Room.
